On September 8, 2023, the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) released a request for proposals (RFP-2024-DMS-02-MANAG) to rebid its Medicaid care management organization (CMO) contracts. A mandatory letter of intent was due by September 18, 2023, and proposals are due by October 30, 2023. The contracts are effective upon Governor and Executive Council approval, with a program start date of September 1, 2024. The contract value is estimated at $1.1 billion. The CMOs will provide full-risk, fully capitated Medicaid managed care services to approximately 190,000 beneficiaries.
