New Jersey Caps Child Welfare Caseloads At 15

Under a new law signed recently by Governor Phil Murphy as part of an agreement to exit New Jersey's child welfare system from two decades of federal oversight, a statutory cap is now in place on caseloads for child welfare caseworkers with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (NJ DCF).
