New Mexico DOH Ends Agreements With Four Developmental Disability Provider Organizations Due To Allegations Of Misconduct
On March 10, 2023, the New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) terminated its agreements with four developmental disability services provider organizations due to allegations of misconduct. The four organizations deliver services to 708 of the more than 6,100 individuals enrolled in the state’s Medicaid Developmental Disabilities Waiver (DD Waiver), which provides services and supports for about 6,100 eligible children and adults diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), including residential, in-home, community, employment, therapeutic, and family support services. The New Mexico DOH has not released details about the allegations.
