New Protocol Promotes Consumer Engagement With Robotic Animals As Therapeutic Intervention For Dementia
Long-term care (LTC) facilities interested in using robotic pets (cats and dogs) as a therapeutic recreational intervention for residents with dementia can promote resident engagement by following a new protocol. Previously there was no evidence-based protocol for using these devices with populations with dementia.
