New York Announces $20 Million For Development Of Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Programs

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is offering up to $20 million in capital funds for development of Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Programs (CPEPs). The funds can go toward developing new programs or improving existing ones. This may include: adding capacity to serve children, expanding the number of extended observation beds (EOB), or improving safety of the unit. New CPEPs will also be eligible for start-up funds of $3 million.
