New York City Administration For Children & Families Offering First-Of-Its-Kind Bronx Food Pantry For Child Welfare Families
On December 12, 2017, the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) and Food Bank For New York City launched an emergency food pantry in the Bronx for families involved with the ACS Division of Child Protection. The goal is to provide high-quality food for ACS-involved families who are not able to provide adequate nutrition for children, as well as to provide on-site educational and social service programming.
