New York Releases RFI Exploring Expansion Of PACE For Managed Long-Term Care

On February 18, 2016, the New York State Department of Health (DOH) released a request for information (RFI) about current Medicare Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) programs and their role in providing long-term services and supports (LTSS). The DOH is planning to expand access to the PACE as a way to provide LTSS. The state is exploring the PACE program because new federal legislation, the PACE Innovation Act (Act), which was signed into law on November 2, 2015, allows for expansion of the PACE program.
