New York I-SNP Covers Virtual Reality Therapy For Nursing Home Residents
CareWell, a New York-based Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP), now covers virtual reality (VR) therapy for nursing home residents. Its parent organization, AgeWell New York, partnered with MyndVR to lease 15 VR headsets and five tablets. Financial terms were not disclosed. CareWell’s coverage went live on January 1, 2023.
