New York Medicaid Releases Draft Application For Children’s Health Homes

On June 30, 2014, New York Medicaid released a draft application for children’s health homes, which signals the state’s plans for the statewide rollout and the types of provider organizations eligible to become Health Homes for children. The New York Department of Health (DOH) is seeking comments and letters of intent through July 30, 2014. The final application is slated for release on August 29, 2014, and final applications will be due by September 30, 2014. The state anticipates that it will begin to actively enroll children in health homes on January 1, 2015.
