New York Pushes Back Managed Care Launch For Children In Foster Care Until Mid-2017

The New York Department of Health (DOH) Medicaid program has rescheduled the launch of managed care for children in foster care from January 2017 to July 2017. The rollout for the rest of the state will also be delayed by six months to January 2018. Children in foster care in New York City and Long Island will be the first to move to Medicaid managed care in July 2017. Children in the rest of the state will transition to managed care in January 2018.
