New York Selects Foothold Technology For Statewide EHR Developmental Disabilities System
On April 7, 2016, Foothold Technology announced that the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) selected its proposal to provide an automated electronic health record (EHR) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) software to support care and services for more than 38,000 individuals who receive services through OPWDD. The contract is valued at $6 million; it runs for five years, followed by one five-year extension period. The Foothold Technology software is called AWARDS; it will be used to support the OPWDD-run residential, clinical, and day services systems.
