New York To Award Up To $25 Million In Funding For New Regional Disability Health Clinics
New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that $25 million in capital project grants will benefit the development of Regional Disability Health Clinics (RDHC) through the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The funding was included in the Executive Budget for 2025-2026. The stated goal is to improve access and quality across medical, dental, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology services for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
OPWDD will prioritize projects related to the following:
