North Carolina Awards Probation & Parole Transitional Housing Services Contract To Second Chance Recovery
On March 11, 2014, the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (NCDPS), Division of Adult Corrections and Juvenile Justice, Rehabilitative Programs and Service awarded a three-year transitional housing services contract valued at $1.0 million to Second Chance Recovery, Inc. This is a firm-fixed price contract for 20 beds. Second Chance Recovery will provide cognitive behavioral intervention program services along with the transitional housing facilities. The contract runs through March 10, 2016, with the option for a one-year extension.
