On September 29, 2022, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) notified stakeholders that the launch of Medicaid Managed Care Behavioral Health and IDD Tailored Plans would be delayed from the original planned launch date of December 1, 2022, to April 1, 2023. Despite the delay to the Tailored Plan launch, some services for Tailored Plan beneficiaries will become available on December 1, 2022. These include Tailored Care Management and the Medicaid 1915(i) option.

The Tailored Plans will provide specialized services for eligible individuals with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), and traumatic brain . . .
