Direct support professionals (DSPs) caring for North Carolina residents with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) reported wage cuts ranging from 3% to 10%, according to a survey conducted by the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD). The organization said the responses reveal a system under strain, with provider organizations struggling to maintain operations.
