North Carolina Medicaid Releases Funding Opportunity For Addiction Treatment Services For Individuals With I/DD
On December 15, 2021, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) released a request for applications (RFA) for provider organizations to deliver addiction treatment pilot programs for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Up to $4 million in grant funding is available to be shared across 10 awardees, with the maximum award at $400,000 per site. Applications are due by February 11, 2022, and awards announcements are anticipated by March 4, 2022. The contracts are slated to run for one year from March 15, 2022, to March 14, 2023.
