North Carolina Medicaid To Launch Children & Families Specialty Plan By December 2023

North Carolina Medicaid pushed back its timeline for launching a new statewide Children and Families Specialty Plan (CFSP) for children and families involved with the child welfare system, and is now planning for it to go live by December 2023.  Implementing the CFSP will leverage existing requirements of Standard and Tailored Plan where appropriate while adding distinct requirements meant to address the unique needs of children, youth and families involved in the child welfare system.
