Ohio DJFS, Eckerd Kids Launch Analytics Project To Determine Child Welfare Risk Scores

On December 28, 2016, Eckerd Kids began a new contract with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) to create its Eckerd Rapid Safety Feedback (ERSF) model that uses predictive analytics to determine child welfare risk scores. The project will focus identifying the population of children who are at the highest risk of suffering a fatality or near fatality (serious injury) and implementing a case review process that will improve outcomes for these youth. The project will launch in Franklin and Hamilton counties.
