Ohio DODD Launches Acute Care Telemedicine Pilot With StationMD
On February 1, 2022, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) launched a pilot with StationMD to provide 24/7 emergency telehealth for up to 5,000 DODD service recipients initially, with the possibility of expansion. Pilot participants are those actively receiving services from the county board of developmental disabilities, or through home- and community-based services (HCBS) waivers, through an agency provider organization certified by DODD, or they’re residing in an intermediate care facility (ICF). The pilot runs through June 30, 2023.
