Ohio Exits Class Action Filed To Improve Developmental Disability HCBS Access
On January 6, 2022, a federal judge issued an order releasing the state of Ohio from the class action lawsuit Ball v. DeWine as part of a settlement agreement approved by the court in April 2020 to improve access to home- and community-based services (HCBS) for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
