Ohio Expands Youth Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Statewide
Ohio’s youth behavioral health crisis response services through the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) program are now available statewide in all 88 counties, according to an announcement by Governor Mike DeWine on November 13, 2025.;MRSS is available at no cost for children and young adults aged 20 and younger experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral distress.
A network of 12 organizations provides MRSS across 18 Ohio regions. Response teams are positioned to arrive at any location in the state within 60 minutes of receiving a call through the 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline. Each MRSS provider organization . . .
