Ohio Implementing Epic Systems EHR At All Six State Psychiatric Hospitals, Will Standardize Processes
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is implementing the Epic Systems electronic health record (EHR), MyChart, at the state’s six regional psychiatric hospitals (RPHs). At full implementation, the hospitals will share the same protocols around admissions, discharges, and pharmacy management. OhioMHAS is implementing the new EHR in the state hospital system to provide interoperability between public and private health systems.
