Ohio Launches Pilot Program For Children & Families Harmed By Parental Opioid Abuse
On March 22, 2017, the Ohio Attorney General launched 2.5-year pilot program focused on services for children harmed by parental opioid abuse. The program, Ohio START (Sobriety, Treatment, and Reducing Trauma), will operate in 14 southern Ohio counties that applied to participate: Athens, Clermont, Clinton, Fairfield, Fayette, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Perry, Pickaway, Pike, Hocking, Ross, and Vinton counties.
