Ohio Releases RFA For Medicaid Managed Care Program For Youth With Complex Conditions
On October 28, 2020, the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) released a request for applications (RFA) seeking a Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) to operate the Ohio Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence (OhioRISE) program, a specialized managed care program for youth with complex behavioral health and multi-system needs. OhioRISE will feature a new 1915(c) Medicaid waiver, and the program is structured as a prepaid inpatient health plan (PIHP) that will provide comprehensive and highly coordinated behavioral health services.
