On April 5, 2021, the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) announced it selected Aetna Better Health of Ohio as the managed care organization (MCO) for the state’s new Ohio Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence (OhioRISE) program for children with complex care needs. The contract goes live in January 2022, and will run through June 30, 2024.
