Ohio To Implement Mobile Opioid Treatment Program With Two Grantees
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is accepting applications from actively licensed Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP) to provide the first mobile medication unit (MMU) services in the state. The goal is to increase access to medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in high-need areas for people who have addiction disorder but who encounter obstacles to receiving services at traditional brick-and-mortar OTP facilities.
