Older Adults Have Lower Medicare Utilization When Health Care Provider Organizations Partner With Affordable Housing Sites
Massachusetts Medicare beneficiaries living in affordable housing units in a building that partnered with supportive services provider organizations (intervention buildings) had lower Medicare utilization levels than beneficiaries living in buildings without the services (control buildings). For residents of the intervention buildings, the supportive services intervention focused on wellness.
