Older Adults With Diabetes Have 28% Higher Risk For Functional Limitations
Older adults with diabetes were 28% more likely to develop one or more functional limitations than older adults without diabetes. Development of functional limitations as they aged for those with and without diabetes were more likely among those with low socioeconomic status, obesity, multimorbidity, and physical inactivity.
