Oncology Hospital-At-Home Program Reduced Six-Month Health Care Costs By $8,337 Per Person

An oncology hospital-at-home program operated by Huntsman Cancer Institute in Utah reduced health care costs by $10,516 per person during the first three months following an acute care episode compared with similar participants who were eligible for the program but lived outside its service area. Over six months, costs were $8,337 lower per person.
