Ohio Medicaid Makes COVID-19 Telehealth Rules Permanent
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) recently implemented new rules to make permanent the state’s temporary expansion of telehealth during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency. In March 2020, ODM implemented a temporary Medicaid waiver for the COVID-19 public health emergency that allowed for greater access to telehealth services to avoid interruptions in care.
