Optum Rx Rolls Out New Weight Management Program

On December 12, 2023, Optum Rx launched Optum Rx Weight Engage, a pharmacy benefit obesity management program to provide medication management and wellness support for people prescribed GLP-1 medications such as Wegovy, Saxenda, or Mounjaro as treatment for obesity. Optum Rx Weight Engage helps consumers navigate their health benefits and provides a specialized network of clinical professionals to address clinical questions.
