Oregon Medicaid To Link Rates For Mental Health Adult Foster Care To Person-Centered Needs Assessment

As of January 1, 2016, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) will link Medicaid reimbursement rates for adult mental health foster home (AFH-MH) provider organizations to a new person-centered level-of-need assessment. The new reimbursement structure includes a base rate for a level of care, with "add-on" reimbursements based on the person-centered plan for the consumer. This new reimbursement structure applies to all Medicaid beneficiaries residing in adult mental health foster homes.
