Oregon To Create Peer-Run Mental Health Respite Programs

On September 15, 2022, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) issued a request for grant proposals (RFGA OHA-S-44300-00004104) seeking four peer-run mental health respite programs. Proposals are due by October 27, 2022. The respite programs will be located in the Portland-Metro area, central or eastern Oregon, southern Oregon and the Oregon coast. The state intends to distribute $6 million in grants, in the amount of $1,500,000 per program.
