A total of 53.4%, of Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) beneficiaries receive care from an accountable care organization (ACO), representing 14.8 million beneficiaries. This includes those whose provider organizations are in ACOs, including the Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs, entities participating in Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (Innovation Center) accountable care models, and other Innovation Center value-based models focused on total cost of care, advanced primary care, and specialty care.
