OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services On February 9, 2009, the Washington State House began considering a bill (HB 2078) to require correctional facilities to provide “reasonable accommodations” for inmates with developmental disabilities. The bill’s provisions would start by January 1, 2011.
