Pennsylvania Allocates $965 Million In Health & Human Service-Related COVID-19 Funds
On May 29, 2020, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed legislation, House Bill (HB) 2510, that appropriated about $965 million in health and human service-related coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) emergency relief funds. The funding includes line items for the following programs through the Department of Human Services:
$259.3 million for community-based supports and services through the Community ID Waiver for people with an intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD).
$0.7 million for autism intervention and services.
$632 million for long-term living programs, to include: $175 million for a new health collaborative program, $245 million for nursing . . .
