Pennsylvania Delays Managed MLTSS Launch Until January 2018 Due To Bid Protest
On December 15, 2016, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) announced it would postpone phase one implementation of its Medicaid managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) program, Community HealthChoices (CHC) until January 2018. The delay is due to a bid protest that delayed key readiness activities, such as network development, readiness reviews, and communications with Medicaid beneficiaries.
