Pennsylvania Launches $3 Million Grant-Funded Project With Kooth To Provide Digital Mental Health For A Pilot With 30 School Districts
Pennsylvania is launching a one-year School-Based Mental Health Services Pilot Program for up to 30 school districts during the 2022-2023 school year. The pilot is supported by a $3 million grant from the state Department of Human Services (DHS) signed on October 11, 2022, with Kooth US, a digital mental health and well-being counseling platform. In the participating school districts, students will be able to use the Kooth platform at no cost to access three levels of care: self-directed, peer-to-peer, and a student-counselor connection.
