Pennsylvania To Revamp Nursing Home Oversight To Focus On Quality Of Life

The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) is changing how it oversees nursing homes. The state plans to change regulations and expand facility inspections to focus on the quality of life for residents who live in that facility. As part of this focus, the DOH plans to perform more comprehensive and consistent surveys to collect data that allows for consistent evaluation of quality of life in nursing homes.
