Pennsylvania’s Allegheny County Releases RFP For Family Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment

On August 7, 2017, Pennsylvania's Allegheny County Department of Human Services released a request for proposal (RFP) for family residential substance use disorder treatment program services. The county seeks a contractor to develop and manage an innovative, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed residential drug treatment program for families involved in the child welfare system where the parent is in critical need of treatment for substance use.

The county expects the contractor to provide the following:

Residential treatment to parent(s) with substance use disorders and have a trauma-informed
approach to programming and in the residential environment, or milieu . . .
