Placer County, California Awards $3.5 Million In Mental Health Contracts To EMQ & Sierra Mental Wellness

On September 23, 2014, the Placer County, California Health and Human Services, Systems of Care awarded two contracts valued together at $3.5 million for child and adult specialty mental health and non-mental health support services for families involved with the child welfare system. Sierra Mental Wellness Group was awarded a contract valued at $1.83 million; EMQ FamiliesFirst was awarded a contract valued at $1.78 million. Both contracts started October 1, 2014 and run through June 30, 2016; the contract has two optional two-year renewal periods.
