President Establishes ‘Make America Healthy Again’ Commission To Investigate Root Causes Of Childhood Chronic Disease

On February 13, 2025, President Trump issued an executive order to establish the Make America Health Again Commission, which is charged with investigating the root causes of poor health among Americans. The Commission will initially focus on childhood chronic disease. Within 100 days, the Commission will produce an assessment summarizing what is known and what questions remain regarding the childhood chronic disease crisis. This assessment will include international comparisons. Within 180 days, the Commission will produce a strategy, based on the assessment findings, to improve the health of America’s children.
