Private Practice Professionals Report Adopting Technologies To Integrate Behavioral Health Services
A recent survey of 206 private practice professionals indicates that many are adopting technologies to deliver integrated behavioral health services and support the care journey from identification through ongoing treatment. Technologies adopted include telehealth platforms, digital screening and assessment tools, specialty tools, and mobile smartphone applications. More than two-thirds, 67%, of the survey respondents have a behavioral health professional on staff, a report on the survey stated, and 38% of the respondents said they receive daily telehealth requests for mental health appointments. About 15% said they screen for mental health issues, but do not provide behavioral health treatment.
