Rosetta Stone Acquires Fit Brain Games, Launching Cognitive Brain Training Business Unit
In May 2014, Rosetta Stone, Inc. (best known for its language learning programs) launched a cognitive brain training product line as part of its Consumer business segment following the January 2014 acquisition of Vivity Labs. Vivity Labs is the creator of the Fit Brains product portfolio of brain training programs for adults and children. Rosetta Stone acquired Vivity Labs Inc. for $12 million. For the launch, Rosetta Stone unveiled its expanded portfolio of Fit Brains games and trainers with a new website and cognitive training marketing campaign.
