Seattle Seeks Community-Based Interventions To Combat Toll Of Gun Violence

The City of Seattle’s Human Services Department (HSD) is seeking a continuum of community-based interventions to support people and communities affected by gun violence. HSD released a request for proposals on September 23, 2025, with responses due by November 12, 2025. Award notification is scheduled for January 26, 2026, and the new contracts are planned to begin April 1, 2026. Up to $14.7 million is available for 2026.

The range of services sought includes school safety services, supportive case management, and resource navigation. Locations for services include hospitals, intensive individual services, and place-based interventions.
