Senior Housing Unit Demand Outpaces New Supply

More older adults want senior housing than there are available homes for people to live in. The senior housing planning pipeline, while sizable, remains heavily concentrated in earlier stages: 94.5% of units are in pre-planning or planning stages, while just 5.5% have advanced to the bidding or final planning stage.
