Seven States Receive Top Grade For Involuntary Treatment Laws From Treatment Advocacy Center
Seven of 51 U.S. jurisdictions received an A for their involuntary psychiatric treatment laws from the Treatment Advocacy Center (TAC). Eleven received a D or F.
The seven jurisdictions receiving an A, with scores of 90 or higher, were Kentucky (106), Louisiana (102), Wisconsin (100), Illinois (98), Michigan (96), Minnesota (93), and Alabama (90).
