Shasta County, California, Awards $4 Million Mental Health Contract For Assisted Outpatient Services
On February 28, 2017, the Board of Supervisors in California’s Shasta County approved the Health and Human Services Agency contract award to Hill Country Community Clinic for contract valued at $4,020,000 to provide a Community Mental Health Resource Center. The services to be provided include after-hours pre-crisis clinical assessment and treatment, assertive community treatment, case management and linkage, treatment groups, community outreach, connection to respite care and transitional housing, and buddy/mentor system services for youth and adults, among others.
