Six Jurisdictions To Launch Projects To Eliminate Homelessness Among People In Reentry
Five jurisdictions and the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes are participating in a two-year reentry initiative to prevent homelessness among people released from incarceration. The initiative, called ‘Zero Returns To Homelessness,’ was developed by the CSG Justice Center, with support from the federal Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and in partnership with the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH). The state participants include the Idaho Department of Corrections; the Louisville Department of Corrections in Kentucky; the Michigan Department of Corrections; Natrona County, Wyoming; and the Oregon Department of Corrections.
