Half Of State Child Welfare Agencies Planning To Continue Some Virtual Services After COVID-19 Ends
Child welfare officials in the 53 states and jurisdictions said that they may continue to provide virtual services created during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency after that public health emergency ends. This ranges from 48% that intend to continue virtual case planning services to 25% that intend to continue telehealth visits.
During the pandemic, the majority of states and jurisdictions implemented virtual services to facilitate various child welfare functions.
